Sitting in the back row! (steelestring)

Hey there, I have been a member for a while now... I think this site is awsome!! I have never spoken up about any issues but now I think I am going to start speaking up. Just a another newbie, been working hard on my skills. I turned up to the 'Rimutex' this morn for the first ride with the kb's but no show .... sat around until 10:30.... maybe I got my wires crossed.. I really keen to learn off experienced riders in the wellington area...

    Cheers

    Andrew

Damn, that's a shame Andrew, that would be one of the first Sundays where nobody has shown. It was a big race weekend this weekend at Manfield which might have had something to do with it. If you pootle on up the hill and stop at the summit, you find at least two kiwibikers there at any one time

Keep an eye on the TCSMR thread and we'll hopefully see you there. Nasty will probably be there this week, I'm most likely to be shifting servers on Sunday

Hey There ! Yea.. I should have waited longer but there were so many bikes out and about anyways I just went for it! I am just a bit shy, sat at the top for a breather today and felt like a needed a bigger piece of metal between my legs to speak.. hahaha, went over to martinborough for a drink and headed home. Was good to get over the hill again. I did the paekock* (spelling) a couple of times on friday night too. thanx for the heads up

Paekak is a great road with the only problem being the bloody 4-wheeled vehicles - they just don't know how to keep left.

Oh and if you're even thinking of maybe going for the Sunday ride, bang a note in the TCSMR thread because there's likely to be a whole bunch of others who are thinking the same and so you'll start a movement which will end up as a group ride .

    getting further up the island

hey there.. I am trying to get some time off to head up to palmy/ashurst and beyond I will keep my eye on the rides coming up. Hehehe I like cake too... you can have most of my portion cause I dont want to grow out of my leathers I have to keep that power to weight going good!! I busted out 441kms last weekend..... over the takas 3 times and all around the wairarapa. My bike needs some work now, I think I need to post some stuff in the general about a spanner night in wellington... I know it has been done a million times before though. I missed the last one for the zxr and hornets around may some time...
