No really sure if your comment was supposed to antagonise me or if it was some kind of macho posturing (bought on by small mans syndrome no doubt?)

Or perhaps I was communicating that I just don't give a shit. When the Council start acting responsible, I might take some notice.

Hey, I notice in your profile that you have an "05" GN250. Why did you state the "05"? They haven't changed a thing in 30 years so it doesn't really matter.

Sometimes Finn you make me laugh, you really do. Don't know what's the funniest, you legging it up the hill or the councillor chasing you. Methinks there might be a bit more to this.............like an unregistered dog??

There's that deja vu again vis-à-vis Julius Caesar but I suspect for different reasons. Caesar was in a class of his own military but politically inept to the point that he got himself killed. This led to the second civil war that allowed Octavian (Augustus) Caesar to become the First Emperor. His reforms at first popular came under ever increasing opposition from both his political opponents and later from the plebeians. This may have had more to do with his banning of the ‘games’ than any political policies that today would have been seen as socialist and regulatory. Caesar was proclaimed dictator for life by the Senate and this led to the eventual formation of the Republican Party where the Emperor was all but King other than in name (Rex)

Don’t know if you read much but the Emperor series by Con Igguildon, novels on the life and times of Gaius Julius Caesar are worth a read. I Claudius is better known but deals with the Empire and it's aftermath after the civil war.

Well not entirely true, they moved their production to China in the latter years so the build quality is shitter.

Hey, I notice in your profile that you have an age of "1". Why did you state the "1"?

These little legs can move when they have to. My dog is registered but the tag wasn't on the right collar this morning. He's got like 30 of them and I ain't changing tags at 6am.

Although this guy does not appear to have taken a reasonable approach, like talking to you, I guess if the Law was being broken??

    Summary of your legal responsibilities

Most of your legal responsibilities are contained in the Dog Control Act 1996 and Part 12 of Auckland City's consolidated bylaw. Your legal responsibilities include but are not limited to:

registering your dog (by the time it reaches three months of age) every year and ensuring it wears an identification/registration disc

providing proper care and attention, food, water and an adequate kennel or place of shelter

ensuring that the dog receives adequate exercise

taking all reasonable steps to ensure that the dog does not cause a nuisance, eg, by persistent and loud barking or howling

taking all reasonable steps to ensure that the dog does not injure, endanger, intimidate, challenge or cause distress to any person, stock, poultry, domestic animal or protected wildlife or damage or endanger any property belonging to any other person

confining your dog to your property and preventing it from wandering

having your dog on a leash, lead or chain when your dog is in a public place or any private way (including a right of way) in the Auckland city isthmus

getting a permit if you keep more than one dog. Two dogs are allowed on Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands before a permit is required

removing faeces if your dog goes to the toilet in a public place

securing dogs (by tying them down) when they are carried on the open tray of a vehicle to ensure that the dog cannot fall from the vehicle.

Thank you for that insightful find Grahameeboy. The Bible is also very clear on its position regarding sexuality but I guess you skipped that page.
