Ever noticed how the class is called the "Ripe Coffee Company Clubmans" ?
He's a real cool guy, maybe you should buy some coffee off him.

Actually I didn't but I know now. I wouldn't mind a shot of tweety though. Been repeatedly told that Honda made the wee VFR's with very nice handling

I still beat you twice that weekend on my "cough" air cooled CBR400 and I'm not going to let you live that down.

Yeah...I'm quite aware that I'm $hite at Taupo thanks very much. Hopefully this time I'll manage more than 7 corners before binning her.

Took the CBR for a quick illegal spin today. Seems to be OK and I don't think I've caused any lasting damage but then again I wasn't caning her.. The braking stability problems have me completely stumped. I'll try and annoy some of the folk who know about suspenders and head bearings and that sort of thing next time I'm trackside.

Tweety handles pretty good... she manages to corner pretty good even with me piloting her!

I beat you twice that weekend too dude! so i think it was a draw.... (plus dont i get a bonus for crashing and coming out next race?)

are you going to count the corners you make it around? i'm so looking forward to Taupo, i cant think of the right words to express just follow me and you should be fine

Only if I get a bonus for motocrossing at >100K's a couple of times in one race.

Hopefully not I'm gonna take it a bit easier this time. If I struggle to hang on to your exhaust then I'll just back off a little rather than pushing it.

On the bright side. Took the ceebeerar to Pukekohe (by Gawd that is one boring track, especially on a 400) yesterday. Mate of mine helped me (ok, he basically did it) replace the rear shock with one "acquired" from Econohonda. Old shock was umm....fucked. Seals gone on it totally and even the spring was shot. New one is worn but miles better so I'm happy. Seems to have jacked the rear up a wee bit too (hard to tell at that track but I think it may have fixed the slow steering). Braking stability returned but I won't push it for a few races. Coolant problem fixed too (if it was gonna blow then Puke's long straights would have done it), ickle leak whilst it warmed up but seems to be sealing once pressurised. Fuel starvation (I believe) towards end of both straights at Puke so might increase float heights next service (maybe this year lol). Shouldn't affect it at any of the other track though (I hope).

I reckon there's gonna be a lot more entries at Taupo so hopefully some new 400's to play with.

Just wait till next year when Nicki is on the CANBRACE 400, then you wont have an excuse for anything. It will be like production racing with matching bikes hehehe Remember that CBR = Can Brace Racing
Great to hear your shock is going to behave better as your bike was lookin real wobbly last time i watched you.
    Cheers Paul.
