Yeah ended up going thru mangatangi on to SH2, missed the turn for Paparimu, which takes you back over the hunua and on to clevedon. Bit of a bummer coz sh2 and sh1 so boring.

Still recovering from my accident mate, hope to join everyone in November. My replacement gpx with 0kms is waiting for me at the shop. Can't wait to get back on the bike eh soooo keen, it'll be 3 months total being separated from my favourite two wheeled vehicle. Just reading about these summer rides fills me with envy.. Oh well

    from Auckland

Take the Southern Motorway (SH1) south

Take the 'Mt Wellington/Sylvia park' offramp, turn left onto South Eastern Highway.

Go past Sylvia park on the South Eastern Highway

Follow South Eastern Highway till you get to the end (T junction) turn right onto Ti Rakau Dr

Follow Ti Rakau Dr till you get to the end (T junction) here is the BP

So from the south, take the Manukau off ramp onto Gt south rd
turn right onth Gt South road and go along until you get to Cavendish
turn right onto Cavendish (first major intersection)

follow that for donkey's until you get to Ti Rakau, turn right, next intersection is the BP.

Hahaha I borrowed it from the US Navy.

The "Previous 12-hr Precipitation Rate" is their prediction for rain in the ocean. They declassify them for the public once the model is 12 hours old. The times are all in GMT so you need to add 13 hours to get NZ time.

It's not 100% accurate but it's usually way more accurate than any other long range forecast.
