I was doing some work at uni today. It was soooo loud! I was too scared to drive all the way up to Whangaparaoa in it so I will wait untill it passes
I'm gonna make it so PC
Myself'n a mate on the 'Shore are trying to triangulate the exact position of a bolt of lightning, using the times between each of us registering the peal of thunder, and the established fast that sound travels at 340m/s.
But I don't think it'll work unless either we find a third person, preferably in West Aucks, or unless one of us can see the flash of lightning as well? *goes back to calculations*
Disclaimer: Yes, we know we are both now geeks. But being able to pinpoint a bolt of lightning would be so totally awesome that frankly, we don't care!![]()
