    I want armoured undies!

Why hasn't someone invented some kind of kevlar bodysuit that you could wear under whatever street clothes you want? So instead of buying several sets of expensive bike gear, you just buy one set of undies and put your normal jeans/ jacket/ skimpy skirt on over the top. It could have pockets for removable armour too.

Or has this already been invented? If so, where do I get some?

Hmm... that would be cool! If it protected you enough and was breathable I'd certainly get one, provided it was affordable lol.

Yes, on telly last week, stab proof vest as thin as a cotton singlet, looked like it just wouldn't cut through, bruising not so sure.

Bike gear should be strong, protective, and when worn by cute girls, easily removable

I agree. Especially being kinda girlie-shaped and with that gear looking kinda boy-shaped... Does anyone stock this stuff in NZ?

I dont think its stocked in NZ. They sell off their site though, and they were good about getting back to me when I enquired, but I ended up getting a set of leathers made instead. I am hell keen to see it if someone does get some in though..

The only thing with that Bohn Armour is that aside from the protection, it is lycra!

There is no protection for your skin which is rather important if you are sliding down the road.......

Kerry on K Road, Motorcycle Safetywear mentioned to me once that she probably could reinforce jeans with leather and armour and stuff if you wanted, that could be an option???

You want the type of armour that sculpts your podgy beer damaged bodies and makes you stand out of the crowd.

    Leather is Soooooo last year!

It also comes in Chrome for those Cruiser types.
