The Herald jumped on this one pretty quickly. Something differant from all the doom and gloom stories that's going on like another one of Sue Bradford's kids getting murdered.

In typical Herald style, they started off implying that half of the North Island had perished but was then downgraded to a ski lift operator who broke a fingernail but thourough investigation found that this incident was unrealted. Its now changed to "Skiers flee". I didn't know that people skied at 8:30 in the evening.

Edit: Oops, got that one wrong. A rock fell on someone while they were sleeping. Broke his legs.

yer bugger that! sleeping on the top of the world and woooooops ..get woken by a flying boulder spewed from the mothers stomach..nice wake up call..could think of nicer ways to wake up than in excruciating pain and hypothermia!
