Hmmm wonder how wifey is taking it......
    If your reading this remember
Dont tell her it was speed,
you swerved to miss a puppy or child
    There was oil
gravel had been dumped on a corneryou swerved for a oncoming passing car that didnt see you.

Never at one time were u speeding

    good luck

Yeah wifey took the news pretty good, told her some guy locked up in front of me and I was following to close haha.
You have to extend the truth some times, or else my bike would be on trade me.

Well that was my first bin, and thankfully didn't come off to bad, no structural
damage just a few cracks and scrapes on the fairings, and a dent in the tank (note to self DO NOT use back brake)

CHeers to all the guys (and girl) that stopped and helped me out.

twas indeed a fun day and apart from the relatively mild bin, surprisingly safe for so many bikes.

i had great fun in the tight stuff but when it came to constantly high speeds on the far side, i was happy to back off and ride with a bunch doing similar speeds.

each to their own of course

riding back with Richard McF was a bonus. we each took turns in the lead and felt no concerns about being passed as if in race conditions even though we were getting along pretty damn well (point to point time not absolute speed)

the stop at Coroglen was great, a live band would have been the topping on that cake. Very friendly locals; particularly the female cook offering free samples of local produce.

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?
