Hi, a voltmeter is great if you have trouble with charging circuits etc.
But for this kind of problem, all you need is a 12v test lamp - $2 at a dollar plus shop, or about $5 at repco/supercheap.
Just approach it logically...
Look for damage where you dropped it - damaged wires, pulled connectors, broken switches.
Then look for broken earth wires, thats the most common.
Then just follow the wires with your test lamp.
Bright lamp = good circuit.
Yellow lamp = hmm, somrthing wrong, dodgy connection, switch, or missing earth
no lamp = no juice
