If I was going to make the 250->1000 jump it'd have to be to a K7 GSXR-1000. At least then I could glue the mode switch to pussy mode for the first 6 months

If it wast the last bike I'd ever own it'd be a thou but I want something to look forward to.

Well thought I would give you an update...

Been loving it! She handles like a dream I haven't had any serious issues...

Although I did bin her --- Really slow speed!

Was trying to be a hero and went out in SUPER HEAVY rain.. Coming up to some lights and a car stopped on green! I braked as I had loads of stopping space but ended up aqua planing and binning! Did a bounce and broke wing mirror .. with a couple of scratches.. BUT otherwise sweet!

    Loving her at speed though!

Yeah first F'n day the bastards got me - the guy that hangs out on the Ngatea straights..

Pulled over to let me past so I did - stuck to just under 110km no prob.

Got to Ngatea and got a weather report from Coro which wasn't best turned around and he must have decided to head into Ngatea cause he was loads closer than what I expected... got pinged at 122kms - lucky really could have been worse

Do it mate - forget what everyone tells you!
I knew I would have got bored on a 600 so went the whole hog... I am still learning to control it properly now but at least I didn't waste money buying another bike!

If you get bored on a 600 you don't know how to ride.

    Fact.
