Team Kiwi Challenge 125 GP support class

    Hi all.
Just wanted to let everyone know that Sam, James, Adam and Kirk are all going to the MotoGP meeting in Australia in October.
We will be the only team representing NZ this year.

They are all paying out of their own pockets, so if there is anyone who thinks they might like to contribute to the fighting fund, please PM me and let me know or email.

Thank you immensely to those who have already offered.

    Regards

    Steve Bagshaw

Yes it is true. Firstly a big thanks to Steve for organising literally everything. Where would we be without him, you da man

I'm leaving Tuesday week and spending the Wednesday getting everything organised. We'll be at the track bang on 0700 Thursday morning to make sure everything is in order and setup out pits. We have our practice and qualifying on the Thursday before the big boys hit the track. First up at 1230 is a 25 min practice session then at 1400 is the 25 min qualifying session. Going to be tough to learn the track, then tweak the bikes setup and put a fast lap in to get a good grid position in less than an hour but we will have to adapt. Then we have three races, the first two (around 1800 on the Friday and Sat) are six lappers. Then the crown jewel on Sunday morning, minutes after the MotoGP boys finish their warmup we'll be out there in front of a crowd in excess of 60000 for our final 8 lap race of the weekend.

It's been many nights lieing in bed at night trying to think of what I've forgotten but its only 11 sleeps now. Fingers crossed the weather stays fine and the bike is reliable.

Check out my website here which I will try and update as much as possible during the weekend. Alternately I think that www.mcnews.com.au will have live commentary, not sure yet though.

Also big big thanks to my sponsors for helping me along. www.tenderlink.co.nz and www.motorbikeparts.co.nz

All the best you guys and well done to Steve for getting this started.
