A taxi giving me a lift, denying my payment on a credit card when they said they would and making a pass at me would get me kinda pissed off too.

I'd send his name rank and serial number to the taxi federation... and his keys. Good job man. There's a lot of good taxi drivers out there, I use 'em all the time and 99 out of 100 are ok but the one of two clowns really piss me off.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

mum and i nearly had a run in with a taxi once... literally. missed by inches. he pulled out of a driveway and into our lane... we had right of way, naturally. we went and bitched to their office with rego etc, and they turned around and tried to claim he wasnt one of theirs. there are only 2 companies in this town, ones blue, the others green. pretty hard to get the colors wrong... dumasses. i sent away a complain form online [the police one] and got a letter thanking me. thatd be the second time a taxi driver has nearly hit me coming out of that same driveway.

for those interested, its the pak n save drive that leads onto victoria ave... it should never have been put there, bloody dangerous.

When I was learning to run on two wheels, I was reliant on public transport. Living in Remuera and working on the Shore, with occassional weekend shifts, I had to take a few taxis. To work it was a $40 ride, but one good driver who took me home after a night on the booze said he lived on the shore, so if I was going to need a ride in the mornings, call him the night before and tell him when to pick me up.

He still charged, but only $25, whereas anyone else was charging from $35-$45.

If you get a good one, get his card or number and they'll look after you in return.
