Does persona non grata translate to "ingrate"? Coz if it does...

    Thanx, Skelstar!

Anyway, my bike mysteriously fell on one of them blue things in the middle of the road, right outside my house. Dunno how it happened - summat to do with a localised anomaly in the force of gravity or summat....

Anyway, I decided to try and repair it, which involved lots of heating and lots of whacking with blunt objects (like my head, fist, a potato, etc.)

Eventually, after I regained consciousness (combination of burning oil fumes and whacking it with my head), the cracks on the inside were smaller, and I had some new ones on the outside.

Some JB Weld will be judiciously applied tonight, and then we'll see what happens. If it saves me US$185+freight, then all well and good. Otherwise...

Anyway, while the bike is exploded all over the gargre, it gives me an opportunity To Do Other Stuff, like change the oil, filter, inspect the clutch, replace an instrument bulb, install New Confirminator Plates MkII, change the gargre-door opener battery or wire it into the electrics, clean and lube the clutch throw rod (notorious for getting grunged up by the chain'n'sprocket), and marvel at how many mechanical doohickeys live under the clutch cover.

And hopefully I won't lose/break anything this time like I did last weekend.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

So'kay boys, don't bother compressing your images. We're all on broadband.

So, you want me to expand them again?
After I went to all that trouble to reduce their size?!?
I can't go much bigger, as my camera doesn't have particularly high resolution.

EDIT: I've made 'em more smallerer, and added these two. JB Weld rocks! It works! It's about (approximately) a bazillion times better than any of those crappy Selleys products.

This shows the exterior cracking produced by me hammering the inside. Hopefully, it's now irrelevant.

If not, I've got a secondhand one available from a friend in Mrka.
