    2007 WestPac Helicopter Run

    WestPac Ride
    Sunday 11th February

    Departing from the Karaka Bloodstock Centre at 11am

    Possibly the last WestPac Ride.
    So turn up, donate some money and lets show everyone how worthwhile this ride is.


    Ride is up the motorway down Queen St over Harbour Bridge to finish at Akoranga Campus North Shore.

    KB'ers usually meet up at the Papakura Autobahn before riding to the Bloodstock Centre.

    IT WOULD BE GOOD TO GET SOME TV COVERAGE ON THIS ONE PLUS SOME RADIO HEADS UP SO WE DONT GET DICHEADS LIKE LAST YEAR CONCERNED BECOUSE HE HAD TO WAIT TO CROSS THE ROAD.[oh no thats right we only get bad press never good press]

    Really, I'd never noticed!

    The usual solution is to ride south to the Drury interchange and ride back up to Karaka.

    Anne did that last year, well sort of....while the rest of us peeled off at the right off ramp...Anne kept going... so a chick on a ZX9 went after her and they both ended up getting there with a few extra K's registered...
    We will keep an eye for ya this year, we leave here about 8.30am to get a good spot and to watch the hundreds of bikes roll in....

    I'll be there again this year... and heading from west... maybe us form west meet at westgate and all truck through like last year?

    Praying to the weather gods for a fine day.

    Hopefully the brand new Rescue Helicopter will be there for us to check out.

    The Ulysses Club have tried for years to get TV coverage on this excellent charity ride but TV 1 and 3 don't want to know!!! Yip bad press sticks!!!

    Its been brilliant the last two years.....saw ya there last year selling stuff and got a T-Shirt off ya, will let you know who i am this year....
