    The sad sad news

Just checked my fuel usage, and can get 160km around town until reserve. But then again it only has 9litres + 3litre reserve. I guess it probably does 200km all up.

Maybe I'll try again and not waste it so much, see if I can make a difference. I am sure half the fuel gets turned into noise.

At the moment I'm getting 190km but when I got the GSXR it was getting 130km to the reserve. Have had to do some major surgery to get it better. Carbs were worn out so in went the dynajets, getting it right though.
Too much of everything adds up to just enough

just had look on the net, i dont know how big my tank is. i think its about 12l w? 3L reserve. i normally get about 180k to 12L beefore i hit the servo. however with the 39mm flatsides i have gone through a tank of gas at manfield in 65km.

the net says 37mpg, but thats from the kawasaki site.
i have tried to find it on the net but cant, my model is the M1 with the ali tank (should be slightly smaller than the steel one) so if anyone knows it wiould be nice, not really keen to just run it dry.
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

    KR250 vs GSX250

The KR250 got 230km on a tank of gas before reaching reserve.

The GSX250 did 220km on 8L of gas. It has a 20L tank.

I am hoping that the reviews I have read about the GSX is that when it is run in I should be getting something like 400km to a tank?!?

Also, when lane splitting you need to keep the revs up in case of emergency avoidance action so that sucks gas too.

ALternatively, I've done 185km's on the open road cruising at decent speeds before the light comes on so its really about how I ride it
I get 200-220 before light comes on easy. seen 250 with no light on before but i was naning the whole way. corse go to the track and all things change, taupo 120ks, puke 110ks.
