It took him a while, inbetween making sure his hair was just right, and putting anti-wrinkle cream on his eyes (that took extra time because he had to go out to his car and get it from the glove box), and all the other purtefying stuff Eddy has to do in a day.

I'm sure that's not true. Especially the going out to the car bit. This is Eddy - he'd have bought 500 jars of cream in from a supplier in China, so he'd have more than enough to keep spares in his office, every room of the house, the garage, the car, the bike, etc. etc.
