    Biker down, Whangamata (30 September)

    In our local paper today, an Auckland woman taken to Waikato hospital on Sunday after it was belived her bike clipped the front of a vehicle she was over taking at the top of the Whiritoa Gorge south of Whangamata, anyone any information as to her well being ? Sounds a mite like the cadger may of speeded up as she was passing........

    Talked to someone who was on the ride with her. She was an experienced and mature rider - so was rest of the group. One finger amputated and bad bruising. Bike totalled.
