"LOU, I'm still awake LOU!!!" bellowing out at 3.52am think half the camp found out you were still up

Great ride there and back, perfect weather (though mid arvo at the rally site the heat was sweltering ), great event.

    2) Micro-lite that beat the site up just before dusk

A great three days. We rode over via the Lewis to Murchison to meet up with Sels1. On saturday we went up to Dennison to have a look at the old mine site and then back to Reefton to meet up with Dangerous and crew but missed them cos we were running about an hour late. It was a shame we couldn't turn around and follow them but we needed to head on to Reefton to fill up. After Reefton it was back to the rally site for a great night. The ride back today was another good one with fantastic weather and all.

Yep another darn good woodystock,After not being able to get away friday arvo with Gsxf , A sleep in was decided..... had other thoughts.... So a little after 930am I pushed off , opting for the scenic short run(A/Pass). What a magic day , Bloody close call with a PBT truck towing a 40ft swinglift trailer ,ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD, just before jacksons, . Arrh Camp KB was found on arrival, Tent up and back on the road to Ross for a ride and enjoy the day. As usual sweltering afternoon at the rally site , just the thing for drinking beer and offering advice to Old
Rider about his new erection(Tent that is...) A visit over the hedge (fence) to camp shrek....man I have to give it to this guy ,every rally I've been to he sets up his own weee camp site... touch of class keith. Of course then the rest of the rabble appeared .....and camp KB was complete.Awesome nite , and lots of nice bikes to oogle over. Sunday morning , with military precision, a bag piper was a piping and a drummer a drumming , awesome ,...but a little later than 615am would have been better. with the mist lifting and the sun out for another warm day it was on the bikes and 4 of us decided Jacksons was the place to be to have coffee and breakfast. Aaaaahh sitting outside in the sun talking bikes and trying not to think that monday is just around the corner, with a magic view across the river to the mountains and a steady stream of bikes criusing by. With near perfect timing the rest of the chch kbers came thru just as we were leaving . One unexpected stop just between temple basin and A/Pass to pick up a guy on a bmw k100 who had gone in to hot on a corner and come off, A little shaken, and some minor fairing damage, we got him back in the saddle, thanks to the others who also stopped and helped , we have all been there at some stage..... nice to get a helpin hand isn't it. Well back to reality now ,wash the bike ,dry the tent and plan the next ride.........

contact PBT and complain, its not the 1st time they have showen shit arse driving.

From what I heard from those following that k100, the guy would have been beter off left there making the roads safer for us all, Rashika was one that was following him before deciding this was a bad place to be and a acco waiting to happen... and what ya know

man now that bloke was scary, I honestly dont know WTF he was doing. Followed him for a little while (as ya do when its tight twisty stuff) waiting for an opportunity to safely get by. Usually not a problem but this guy was on his lane, the other lane and even off the edge white line at times. He'd be riding straight then suddenly swerve to the other lane for no apparent reason and stay there till the next corner... makes it difficult to pass, let alone if a car happened to be going the other way. Decided to undertake at the railway crossing while waiting for the train... fkn glad i did by the sound of it. Dunno if he was pissed or just fkn nuts... didn't want to find out! Oh and it was a silver BMW.

Apart from that its all been said really. AWESUM weekend, both for rides and people, no wind on the way over with just stunning scenery, it was the most perfect bike run you can have. The bands were good, and the booze was well priced
On the run back yesterday I managed to snag another Firebolt as I left Otira and with no traffic in front we enjoyed a sweet run up Arthurs pass together, bloody perfect! Cant wait till you are there behind me too Buellbabe

All in all a superb weekend, topped off with a FKN FANTASTIC Bon Jovi concert last night... 2.5 hours they were onstage and the crowd loved everydamn minute of it!

Wow what an first up rally for me, that was awesome. Got to see some of the most amazing parts of this country, and some more of the best roads. Thank you to the guys I was riding with all weekend. It was great to meet some more KB's and like Karla trying to remember everybody.
Anyway great times and awesome weather.
