Servicing brakes on a GN...

Hey all, I've downloaded a service manual for my GN and have been having a look at it and my bike. I know it's a big ask but I was wondering whether anyone would be keen to show/help me fill my brake fluid which is sitting on the low mark and give my pads a quick sand. Also I'd like to adjust my brake lever a bit. I tried by following the manual but got nowhere and didn't wanna try too much.

So yeah I'm thinking maybe sometime in the first week of study break we could meet up and I could learn a few things in return for lunch or something. How's that sound? Lol...Steven maybe you're keen again

I can help

The fluid and pads won't take more than 15min, the brake lever isn't adjustable per se, but we might be able to make it a bit better for you

Thursday/Friday evening or Saturday?

Twinkle is quite an on to it guy, he removed the grass cutting blades from his ride-on lawn mower and converted it into a motorcycle. Called it a GN for "Grass No-more".

Regards the brake lever, in the manual it says when held firmly there should be a gap of 20-30mm between throttle and lever, with mine there's like 50mm...I only have to pull it the slightest to start stopping and it's kinda weary as it requires my hand to be outstretched. So yeah I dunno, even just a little change would help! Thanks.

without looking at the lever, all levers i've ever seen have been very adjustable, and for those that still aren't in the right place it's nothing a vice and a steel pipe doesn't fix
