gsxr400 1990 (suzuki) missing - fuelling problem?

hi,
my bike seems to not b consistent through the rev ranges in power and im thinking maybe its cos the carby is letting in too much fuel??? wat could i do to fix this problem or the best thing? and does this cause for the bike to miss a bit?

I would not suspect the missing is caused by too much fuel, overall it sounds like the bike needs a good tune up. The losing power at certain point could be due to spark breaking down. Pull the plugs out and have a look at them there are good threads here about how to read plugs and what to look for if it is a mixture issue.
