Quite simple. Weather is getting better = people wanting to buy bikes/go riding = lots of opportunity for scum to nick & sell bikes. <250cc = even bigger market to sell to.

    That long?

Will keep a lookout out west!
Is there a finders fee and can that fee be claimed multiple times if we bring the scum to you in small parts?

others? or to their partner?!... I lent mine to my partner as no other transport n cant drive one of my other cars!!!... I'd prefer to have lent a car... as I only have one bike!!! but that is not an option.

if she couldnt get to work... that'd only end up costing me even more $$!!

transferred me to the community constable for massey to leave a message on answer machine to call me back as he'd be interested in the info and whats happening in their area...

Lucky indeed... my bike is safe here at home where it is all the time, was only there cuz fb borrowing it... I got paranoid about it being out west as I dont think its a safe area & thats why I made sure I took the oxford over!!...

unlucky that it wasnt chained to the carport last night... as it had been getting chained up cuz I was worried... (took lock over last week!)

    Edit: see above about coppers...

What a crappy thing mate! A few years a go I had a car parked outside my house and my neighbour disturbed someone trying to ........bump start an auto car! This about 9:30ish Sunday nite, have a cop lives at the top of my road, ring the cops and they say too late to do anything, even though we had description of bloke and the car he left in, got told to report it to the station in the morning. I did and guess what? Someone else had reported an attempt on the theft of their car about 15mins prior to me, and best/worst of all about 20 mins later one was stolen!!! We live in a small town and there is no time for the cops to deal with "petty" crime...they could have caught this prick easy, there are not too many places to hide in Warkworth!.....LOL

Glad you still have your baby, albeit damaged, is there a ramp up to your house? If not make one, wheel the sucker inside and be done with it!

Just got woken up to FB's flatmate saying 'someone's trying to steal your bike, I caught them n its down the rd'...

I was up outta bed in a flash...

The steering lock etc was still on, they had to pick it up and carry it...

It was only about 10m down the rd.... BUT... windshield snapped right off & gone & one mirror smashed with glass all over bike...

It was a BLUE HOLDEN UTE WITH A TRAILER....

I am so angry So... very very pissed off...

Thankful that flatmate was up n caught them... I owe that chick a huge box of beers...

    So angry.... !!!!!!

will report to local cop shop later on when someone is there...

    EDIT: Details of car:

late model 2002ish Dark blue holden or ford ute, had hard top over tray. two guys mid 30's-ish, couldnt tell ethnicity, was too dark. one had short hair, other guy was driving. towing a silver cage trailer with a wheelbarrow encrusted with concrete in it. presumably a work trailer
...happy to donate a baseball bat or two when you find the f**kers.

not a main rd at all... so they must've scouted it out first n known it was there
I live not far away from there and a few months ago I chased a guy up the road with a bit of 4x2 who had been sitting on my bike at about 2am, 2 bloody great mastiffs absolutely going off at him at my place didn't seem to bother him either... being hit with a length of timber did though...

Sounds like a builders trailer with a concrete encrusted wheelbarrow... ring the local placemakers and ask them if they know any builders who come in in a blue ute....
Has it ever bothered you that Therapist is The Rapist if you break the word in two? It bothers me, especially when they suggest hypnosis.
