Well, have spent an hour or so playing with the clutch, drain the complete system of all fluid and removed the bleed nipple and all banjo bolts. Had a good look at all the threads and they seem to be ok. The feeling of the bleed nipple flogging out or breaking was a myth. Looks more like the CHEAP REPCO spanner I bought in Lower Hutt has started to round off the hex..

It went back together and I flushed a good 500ml of brake fluid through and bled it all up.. Feels great. Will take Kaz for a squirt up to the windmills tomorrow as she hasn't been up there before and will test the clutch out..
taking the piss is fine mate .. there is plenty of that in here

good news on the clutch look forward to hearing if its ok after the ride morrow

    all good

I have my fingers crossed.. I hate having a bike with little niggles...

Also I sent Spitty a message about my pants but have noticed he hasn't been online since July.. Might post a "where to fix my pants" thread in the bike gear section

There's plenty there. My orange one ended up in two bits. Part of it got sent down to Wellywood somewhere.

I'm sure I'll come across another on me travels with drags etc. Always the odd sheep carcass in a ditch you know..................

Tip about using a speepskin- Be carefull when braking hard with a pillion if the skins not secured properly.

Poor bugger. It's a bit of a worry when you can't serve meat and two veg. If you know what I mean.
