ZZR 400 No spark !!!!!

Help !!!!!

I have a ZZR 400 E 1995, 2 weeks ago I rode home in the thunderstorms on the monday night, the thing coughed a few times but that was it.

Next morning the thing cranked over, no spark, I have CRC's every connector I could find, isolated alarm and heated grips.
Did the plug to the earth thingy and no spark.

Replaced plugs, installed my spare coils, leads and caps. tested ICU and regulator on another bike, fine.

Pickup coil 463 Ohms @ ICU, Cleaned up earth to engine, cranks over quick enough.

12V at the battery and coils, Main fuse checked, stand switch checked at ICU and juntion box.

Working my way through each wire to the ignition circuit, unable to find the starter lockout switch but I am hoping that will only stop the starter from operating and not cutout the engine. Neutral switch and light operating fine.

Any help would be appreciated and I know it's probly something completely stupid that I have overlooked.

I need to get it sorted this week as I need it for work and going to Turangi Thursday. I don't mind paying! to get it fixed.

Found out what it was.

The pickup had come loose and was brushing against the cam.

Now I just have to put the bike back together,

Note to self ...!!... locktite bolts!!!!
