    Random acts of kindness!!!

Holy fuck! I just got back from Akld for work. I left at 6.30 am so I was feeling pretty shattered and feeling a little depressed at having been a dick and landing myself with a cast and having to find a new flat.... When there's a knock at my front door. My neighbours who I have only ever waved and smile at everyday had bought me over a plate of freshly cooked home baked afghams! OMG there still are some "real" kiwis left out there!

Are you sure they're "real" kiwis? Most "real" kiwis are still pissed off about the rugby/holden winning...

A french guy was trying to get me worked up about NZ losing the rugby on Skype two days ago... I think he got pissed off because I didn't even know rugby had been on, or that we had lost, and that fact that I though that rugby, unlike motorcycles were a waste of time, and that TV stations could be put to better use... He battled to understand someone in NZ didn't like rugby...

Back on topic though... hope the afghans were tasty...

It is nice to know that good old kiwis are still out there. When my wife did the dirty and left me for another guy friends of mine turned up with food etc for me. Very touching and unexpected.

A friend of mine in Wellington has badly injured his back, I have sent him a card wishing him the all the best. It is little things that mean so much that we often forget in our rush to get places etc.

You certainly are! Many could learn from your example of kindness and support for others.
