    Post Howzit (motnick)

Thought I'd take a mo to introduce myself.

I'm Palmy born and bred. Spent 10 years in the south, back home about 5 years ago.

Have been riding since I was 9, mostly on the farm and beach till I was road legal.

Nearly killed myself at age 16 on a GSX400e, f*** that was a quick bike for it's size. Car pulled out of a drive way in front of me in a hurry, didn't see me (bet ya never heard that before!!!)

Took me almost nine years and four specialists to fully recover, though I was back riding after a couple of months. Screwed my rugby career though.

Didn't have a bike for about 6 years, had a new family and could only afford one vehicle for ages, and until recently had to have a car for work, however my wife's car was playing up so we swapped for a day, at which time she wrote of my coon.

Turned out to be a blessing in disguise, managed to guilt trip her into getting a bike again (not that that was too difficult, but she does have a fear of them). Been back riding for a few months, had to relearn, but still love the ride.

I decided to obey the law and get a 250 this time, finally got my restricted license after 15 years on my learners.

Currently saving for a bike that can actually do 100 kmh regardless of the wind/hills. Probably gonna be a Suzuki, but I'm not really biased against any Brand, nearly bought a bandit 1200, but chose the legal option instead.

Whatever I get, it will defintly be a cruiser of some description.

Anyway, thats a novel and a half.

Keen to hook up for casual rides around the region, drop me a line.

as they say, if ya fall off a horse get back on it....though its taken you a bit of time to get back on one...As for 15 years on learners thats a long time....but I am still way past that (bout 20 for me)
Glad to see ya got a "sensible" 250...them GNs are good...but easy to outgrow...Might see ya on some more chrome one day eh...Im thinkin VN1500 for me once I get past Full Lic.
