    good one, congratulations.

Hopefully you'll get the key to the special elevator that takes you to the floor with the hot and cold running secretaries, the patented stress relief bidet chair (No need to get up to go sir, and once you're done Ms Fairweather will be in to give you a good wipe and powder). Sure the ten course catered lunches can be a pain (especilly if you have a round of golf or whatever planned in the afternoon, but a man's gotta do, right?). If you get really frustrated you can venture down to the employee prison, and whip some poor minimum wage slob with a cat o nine tails for a while till you get your perspective back)....

Pleased for you, mate. You've worked for it and it's well deserved.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I will be working for Fletcher Construction as a Project Co-ordinator. Based at the 1 Featherston St site (opposite the Railway Station) in Wellington. The role is comprised of a salary package that (while not huge) is better than what I'm getting, Project Manager development programme, Study assistance (both financial and time based - early finishes to get to 'tec) and some decent employee benefits - leave, health insurance etc...

To say I am pleased would be the understatement of the year. I've had a tough year, especially with my current employer, while still succeeding in my current role (Project Co-ordinator). This role career represents the first time I've developed from one employer to the next while retaining the same role. For someone who's working life has been drifting from job to job with no clear direction this represents a huge step forward. I posted a thread earlier this year about growing up and getting my full license - this is a further extension of that process... I'm actually proud of me - that too is a first...

Just thought I'd share a little bit of my world...
    Congratulations mate....your shout eh?

I thought I should inform my boss, so I started write my resignation letter... as I'm writing it he came around to my desk and asked if my workload was a bit light. I told him it was and he asked what I was currently doing - so I told him I was writing my resignation letter... The look on his face when he read what was on my screen was priceless!!

I wrote an email but they wouldn't let me send it to all NZ employees... Damn permissions... so I emailed it indivually to each and every office around NZ... always ways and means to get around the system!

Hehehehe!! Fark, I'm enjoying work right now!
