    Coolest helmet graphic

I've been deliberating (for over 6 months) on what sort of hemet to buy. Mrs Kendog has kindly put me in contact with someone that will do free shipping from the US, however I still can't decide. I'm interested in knowing how people choose their replica helmets - do you chose based on the rider regardless of how ugly it is, or based on the look? Votes please....

True, but once you know what size and style you are getting you then have the option of chosing the colour/graphic

im a plain colour or simple graphic man (but you didnt really have an option for both)

im not really into the bright colours and wild graphics meself, and I'd rather have my own helmet than a copy of someone elses (altho some are pretty sweet)

and, as already stated above - i try try try until i find a nice comfy fit, then choose from the range of colours/graphics they have

with my old nolan i actually removed most of the stickers cos i didnt like 'em, the new one (arriving shortly from the US) is a plain graphite - i really like the matt finishes that are out there these days too

Edit: if i had to pick one of the 4 you have up there, i'd go for the first or the third (have i made your mind up for ya? lol)

Apart from the shit helmets I had in the "old days", I've chosen only two based on graphics. One was when I bought my VF500, and the dealer gave me a discount on helmet and boots. The AGV he had in my size was nice, but it didn't match the red/white/blue of the bike, so he got another from the importer in another colour scheme for me.
I replaced that with a black/silver/gold one when I had my black VFR (with gold and silver accents). That helmet was replaced with one bought secondhand, and it was just luck that being multicoloured (with some red in it) it went OK with the red FahrtSturm, and the blue in it matched the blue in the VifFerraRi.
    Sort of.

I'll probably just get something blue-ish next, or maybe silverish.

The problem with doing the colour-matching thing is you can end up out of whack. I decided to buy some Spidi Pro-1 gloves in black/yellow/white to match my black VFR and black/silver/gold helmet, but they looked really crap when I got my red Teknic jacket, and even worse with the red bike.

Best bet is to stick with black, I guess.

I'd like a Rossi-replica helmet, but I've gone off AGVs. I love the features, but they don't fit my head shape very well.

Then there's the "Don't buy a $50 helmet unless you have a $50 head!" crapola (started, I believe, by Bell losing sales to cheaper brands). My head has been over-capitalised for years. If only I could find a helmet for $50....
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Ahhh, Arai. You'll never go back.

The Haga flame jobbie (#3) would be my pick of the 4 you've put up
