    Help and opinions wanted.

I have a 1995 GSF250 bandit and I am sick of not being able to see past my elbows out my mirrors. I was wondering what to replace them with. Found some cool looking bar end mirrors out of U.K. But at $200.00 pair + freight I don't want to spend the dosh unless they are going to work. On e-bay there are hundreds of normal mirrors for sale so youse fullas and fullessas think that they might be worth a go. Mine are currently round. Thought maybe some retangular or oblong might be the go. Thanks in advance for your help.

    1) accessory bar end mirrors like on the GS450s are only $100 a set.
2)RX125/sr250 mirrors have longer stalks that will offer better views

i would look at as many bikes as possible ie bike shops etc and find something that will suit your bike.also what about bike wreckers in your area?

If you commute and lanesplit whilst doing so, bar end mirrors will occasionally curtail your progress if you don't want to lose them.

Go for the bar ends mate

You won't be disappointed. I got mine off ebay. Landed on my door for $130 NZD....

You get a really good view behind and mine don't vibrate at all. They came with a bracket to insert into the bar end and tighten a hex bolt but didn't fit in my bars. No probs though, removed the bracket and just cut the end off my grips and moved them further inward and clamped the mirrors around my bars....
