I am more than happy to catch everyone at the Masterton stop on the way to CP. The Mobile sounds good. Maybe some of the Rappa crew will want to join in as well?

Our annual track fun-day day will be held on October 20th 2007, at Manfield Autocourse. Unfortunately, due to extra costs this year we are having to charge members. The fees are: Members $20, Non-members $60. Committee members and volunteers who have assisted with running the race meetings this year will be free. Maximum numbers on the day=120 riders. First in first served.

There will be 4 groups: novice, medium, fast, and race. Novice will be paced by a lead rider and we may need to consider enforcing some rules about passing on the inside on corners, in the novice and medium groups.

Register on the day from 7.30/45. Riders briefing will be at 8.45. A look-see session for first timers will be at 9, then we will cycle through the sessions in 15 min rotations. The session order will be Race, Fast, Medium, Novice. There will be no cycling from one group to the next, but riders can request a group change if they have misjudged their appropriate group and we may move riders into a more appropriate group if required.

Any club-members or racers that are willing to come and assist with marshalling and admin on the day are more than welcome. Depending on the number of volunteers, we may be able to slot volunteers into some of the sessions during the day, or marshal for half day then ride, but there will also be a dedicated session for the volunteers at the end of the day.
