    Talking BMW rc1200 (Phil W)

    Hi All.
Currently riding a wonderful 97 BMW RC 1200 in the less than wonderful Auckland rain.
Last in a long line starting with
    KH 250, two stoke triple.
GS 350, another 2 stroke and probably the worst bike I've ever owned even compared to the dreaded CX 500 (of which I've owned 2 for some reason).
A KH 500, twice the problems of the KH 250.
A Suzuki 375 which was a strange thing and I can't remember its designation.
    Then came the CX.
A very nice K series CB 750 four, with which I hit a parked Porche, oh well my fault entirely.
A CB 550 four which I left for dead somewhere.
A 77 Goldwing which was just a bike, no bits except a King and Queen seat. Me and the wife went evrywhere on that old girl. I still wonder who has her now (I mean the bike not the wife).
A 1500 Vulcan, damn fine bike that.
    Now the Beemer.
Looking forward to the summer and a bit of dry.
    Phil

Sometimes, and probably rightly called R 1200 C. Strange looking cruiser. James Bond rode one in some film.
    Thanks for the welcome

This is a 98 model but is pretty much the same as the 97.

Thought so. Have ridden one of those. Nice bikes only let down by the rear shocks.
