    Waikato rally - Auckers unite

Right with the countdown to the big even underway and me crossing off the days of the calander. I have been considering how to get to hailton. After thinking long and hard about doing the 22 into hamilton i decided that the 365 odd km after hamilton is enough riding for 1 day. So i will be doing boring old sh1 i suppose and was wondering if anyone would like to join me???

we gotta be gassed up and ready in hamilton by like 9:30 i think so i was hoping to be in hamilton at 9 thus maybe meeting at auto bahn at say 9ish and look to leave at about 8:15. (I will be ridig with CK and his missus and he is noutoriuosly (spelling) late so thoae are propsoed times)

Anyone want in. Might make the ride a bit more enjoyable

I'll be going down SH22. Anyone up for that?

I think there are 2 main risks of going on SH1:

    1) Going at 250 past a cop car.
    2) Going at 100, then falling asleep and crashing.

    . yeh but the advantages

    1) don't have to leave frikken early
    2) cut 60-80km off the ride (save petrol for those bum students like myself)

and if a person starts to nod off then hopefully there will be someone there to tap them on the shoulder

Aff-man will be needing about warp 10.5 if he expects to leave the Autobahn at 09:15 to arrive Hamilton at 09:00

Yep. I am keen on being at AB at 8 and leaving at 8:15, I assume that it'll only take 45mins to get there? @ 100km/h?

The fresh air (in lack of a screen) will keep me awake.... or I might bring an mp3 player....

Hahahaha so you've already started blaming others for your lack of an accurate watch . I might just show your wife this see what she has to say

What bike does your old man ride? Is he fast? I was wanting to know how long does it take for someone like CK?
