    3rd time lucky.... yeah right

as some of you know ive been having a rough time with bikes
first the FXR was binned and written off no big deal needed to be replaced anyway....

second Lilsels ZZR was almost stolen from my place and has had $1000 worth of damage i am still feeling bad about that bloody low life westies

and third was today my new errr bike died on the way to work.
there i was at 530 this morning on the side of SH16 in the dark pulling the spark plug out having to clean it to try get a spark then as i was on my way again the bulb blew so had no light for the last 2ks of my ride out to kumeu, so the bike is outside in bits atm as i flush it all out and scrub the plug and so on.....

what have i done to upset the motorcycling gods?
    im getting frustrated
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

    1. A learner dropped your bike while learning. No surprises there.

    2. The ZZR was stolen while unsecured. Woopsy, lesson learned.

    3. You bought a relatively cheap used, er, 'bike' and didn't immediately check the tuning and the state of all its consumables (brake pads, plugs, oil if it's a 4 stroke, chain and sprockets).

All of the above are valuable bits of experience to file away. No real harm done from any of them; think of it as an accelerated course in life experience as a biker.

    Don't be so damned logical.
It's obviously nothing to do with personal responsibility and all that - it's just BAD LUCK and those erratic BikerGodz.

Time to sacrifice another car in an attempt to appease them.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

upon purchase of new 'bike' all points were checked as it came from dealer made sure all was 100% before paying for pile of crap just bad luck for this bike i think and its a 2 stroker made sure it had new plug and carb was cleaned recently so unsure as to why it has died

but you are right the first 2 points are my fault and lesson learnt!

Bugger! I'd be having a word in the ear of the dealer about that one.

Still, hey, it's all part of the fun eh
