    I'm back!

Managed to get back on my bike today after being crippled for about 2 months, slipped into my suit and went around the block and pinned it. I've still got another month of recovery to go though.. Just too keen I guess, Suffering the pain for it tonight but it was well worth it. Oh yeah, My new GPX doesn't dive as much as my old one did

Welcome back to two wheels! Glad you haven't been put off mate.

Must feel great to get back on after that long. I had a month off when I broke my shoulder and it killed me.

Good to hear you're back on your feet and gave the two wheels a go again!

Try and let the healing be done properly - Macktheknife may have some sage advice at this stage!

    WAHEY!

Welcome back to the fold matey, but take it slowly, last thing you need is to undo all the hard work that has gone into fixing you!

Ohh bugger you had a similar experience to me I take it yeah? Hospital for a week, Written off bike, Replacement from Spectrum?

I've just made my first physio appointment now, I don't suppose you'll be needing physio aswell eh? Heh, my arm at this stage extends just enough to be able to operate my clutch but I gotta take all the pressure on my right side when i brake hard or lean into a corner, No long distance and no 100 zones yet, they can wait.

Nah just 3 months to replace lots of parts and I'm still waiting on a Tacho. Some stuff they haven't done tho' I'm guessing they do what the assessor puts on the sheet but pass switch, rear bulb, ding in swingarm, and frame (minor) and bent threaded push rod bit of the rear brake weren't done. I'm taking it back in soon once the tacho's in so they can see with the insurance co. that it's ok to do those bits too.

Nah mate, no physio, I use the Ostopathic school at Unitech in Mt Albert (09 815 6794). Fully reccomend them. All been studying for 5+ years and overseen by awesome tutors. Very holistic treatment. Normally $14 but $10 if your on ACC, just quote them your number.
