Thoughts on spending the week muted

Well, I haven't been very well this week and part of it caused me to lose my voice completely... in fact I still can't talk without sounding like a squeeky toy.

What I discovered is how frustratingly hard it is to communicate and how much we take the basic functions we have for granted.

Email, text and the KB forum have been the only way I could communicate all week... apart from a whole lot of gesturing, waving and finger-pointing at home. The frustrating bit is when people would ask a question with their back turned and I just couldn't reply.....

I just sat there looking at the phone and cellphone as they rang...

So anyway, thanks to those that kept me entertained and laughing on KB this week. It was much needed.

What would he want to freight it for? I'll pick it up today and deliver it (no charge at all for some fellow bikers), tis the least I can do.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

So sounding like Elmo isn't really what you're looking for?...
