Thumbs up Urgent - Anyone free next week to help at Targa (Road Race)

    Hi all

This is an urgent call for anyone that maybe interested in helping with Targa, this is a great way to see how big events run from the inside

We need someone from Monday lunchtime, until the following Sat to man the radios, emergency phone etc at Targa HQ, the Targa HQ is based in Papakura, however as many of us travel we can use someone from outside of Auckland, and accommodation can be arranged
No experience needed as full training will be given.
It is a great way to get into an event like this

PM me or post here if you can help

    Regards Scott

We got the Targa West out here.

Seeing as how three special stages start at our front gate, all we have to do is wander down when all the cars turn up, chat to people and watch them take off up the hill! (and listen - you could hear Jim Richards GT3 for about 5-6km over the hill - what an awesome machine that is!)

Unfortunately, a lot of the interesting machines tend to wipe out before they get to us - Brocky last year and the only Ferrari this year..........

So much easier, not being involved.......

    Hi Speedie

I knew you would be there, you are far to important, not to have you there
I am not sure who did it last year, I just got the call last night to see if I knew anyone that maybe interested.
I think they have someone now

Keep an eye out for me, I will be in the EVO9 this year
