Oh well........Was a good day for it too, met up with Kev and James at Twin Bridges, they peeled off at Kaikohe to do the Kauri Forest. Went up to Mangonui to gorge on fresh snapper then up to Coopers and back down around the Matauri Bay Rd. Stopped again at Keri for a mungus [I'm already a chubby buddy!] then home for a bourbon and spa. Yay!!!! Kittie, do you want me to PM you next time or any time?

Was a good ride too! Let us know if you are up for a pootle thru the countryside Unit, I have until the 27th for son frightening duties! Anyway, in town so always up for a coffee or rescue etc. You have my cell. How you guys got 12,500km out of tyres is beyond me!

Yep Im pretty pleased with myself. Chris is fussy about constantly checking tyre pressures and adjusting them for the appropriate days riding. Im also extremely smooth on the throttle, which I think helps a lot.
Will be great to catch up next time Im up.
Know what you mean Doug about the beach hoppers. Mt Maunganui and the Coromandel are areas to be avoided this time of the year. Bring on March, conditions are perfect then.
