Awesome ride ta Oakura via Russell Rd (TIE's Heli Ride Rd). Good mixed group. Nice ta see Korumba there. Dam it Laava can make that V-Strom work when he's in the mood.
Stopped at Hikurangi on the way back for the usual BS session. Next time I'll order the $5 plate not the $10 plate Had to leave some cold chips for Gordie when he finally get's there

    Maunders '08 Busa

Thanks to Mike for letting me out on the Busa this morning. Saw you Doug out on Roxanne, and waived to you on my way back to the shop. Ive done a ride report comparision against the 14 if anyone is interested. Oh, and it was great to do some Norfland roads today. Went down Otaika Valley Road (new gravel yuck), then to Tikipunga, through Vinegar Hill Road, then up Pipiwai Road, down Kokupu Block Road, though Kara Road then back to town, 85kms all up, was great.

Lawns/Busa - Lawns/Busa, YOU LOOSE! Yea was great to have a ride, I really enjoyed it, very very nice bike all up, but still wouldnt swap the 14 for one. There was a guy who traded his red 14 today for one, so I parked my bike out the front of Maunders declaring to Mike that now he is Maunders Kawazaki I was advertising for him

Probably was I headed south about 1.30pm. Had a great catch up with the Mahas then stopped in Albany at the Wickeds for a lovely roast pork dinner, I love this KB thing. Finally got home about 10.15pm, about 1/2 hour later Chris rolled in from Wellington! (and Gordie and Tina too in the pimp wagon )
