Just a note for tomorrow's ride: Mangakahia (Twin Bridges) Rd still has heaps of roadwork, especial just past the Mangakahia Area School in Titoki. Wet lime and course metal in places. Have horse ta do so will not be riding tomorrow

Made an arse out of myself on Eric's driveway (goat track). Managed ta stall "Roxanne" going up the hill leaving his place. Not a good place ta stall on a road bike. Dirt/metal farm track. Was sliding backward until I managed ta get the back brake on. Then had one hell of a time trying ta hill start there. Finally got moving but "Roxanne" was cutting in and out, which ended up with me putting too much juice on, spinning up the back wheel and down we came No major damage (accept ta my pride). Will leave before dark from there next time. Maybe more/less beer could help too
