Happy Birthday for yesterday Doug, did ya do the forgotten world highway?
So do we all want a BBQ at Casa Laava on the 9th then after a ride somewhere? Jo is keen so I will ask those at the TNR who don't get on here. Beds available for those who need it. Let me know. Specially y'all statesiders!

Yep, did the Hidden Highway to Whangamomona Republic from Turangi via Taumarunui and return on Thursday. Am sure I saw Rusty Southern Cross riders coming from there too.

Have found a few German/Belium Beer places to

One of them is in Riverhead, so make an awesome Ride for the Ulysses one Sunday.

Hey all and just to let ya know ill be in New Zealand on thursday,

With my lovely wife. Dont think ill be making the Thursday night ride however

as i would have just got off the plane in the morning. Still bloody tempting though.
So ill be in Kaiwaka that night for a long night sleep. Ill be travelling to and fro to the North shore hospital for a bit. but ill be about to harasse ya all.
Can i ask a fav can some of you PM me ya phone numbers so if im up that way i might be able to squeeze in a catch up. Buggered if i know where i left my old phone with all the numbers on it.

I get in at 5.00am on the 9th,save a lamb chop for me, may be in Whangers sometime over Easter so would be cool to catch up.... I know where my old phone is ......Have a good trip Andrew, hope your Dad is on the mend.

Have upload some pics of Blue Babe & I's resent road trip in my Album on KB (see 2009 March Road Trip). Was a good one, but the next one will be staggering distance from here :-)

There was a couple at the Whangamonata Pub, taking photos of churches, which we laughed at. Just wanted to show we can do it too by taking photos of the pubs

Belgium Pub was the best in Rotorua, Mind you there is one nearer home that could come close-ish, Hallertau near Kumeu. They make their own there + sell alot of overseas beers too.

Bugger Pm shift that Thursday. The one after that is a Night shift (well at least I would be able ta ride and eat). Tomorrow as an AM (too bad though as the Friday as also an AM). The 23th is also a PM. It not until the 30th before I could do a BBQ on aThursday night (AM shift with the Friday off). Not a good Month for Thursdays for me then

Looking forward to catching up with ya all.
What a hectic few days its been so far.
been nuts.
Dad finally made it home for a breif few days so now i get to stay in Kaiwaka and stop driving back and forth to Auckland.
But i realy wanna head north. so this week im making a run for it lol.
Ill catch up with ya all soon.
