Well it now seems as if he's likely to go with Gresini. Sounds like a decision will be made shortly.
Never been a huge fan but he's a good smooth rider and someone else on the grid with a personality of sorts has got to be good!

And Dennis Noyes Adds His Bit:
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Apparently Max wants more money than Alstare is prepared to pay him, and he knew that some time ago. Whatever he says, it's very obvious he's been blackballed by Honda and he'll never go to a Honda team in GP.
As the top WSB rides are all sorted now, by the sound of it, he's got a bit of a slog to find something worthy of his undoubted talents. Still, if Checa and Barros are going back to WSB at their age, and Capirossi is in with Suzuki in GP, then Max should surely be able to come up with some sort of plan, as he's always going to be faster than those first two anyway.
One would think that the MV/Foggy link could be resurrected, but Foggy and Max together................? That wouldn't last. Chili running a Duc team with Max? Possible. Flammini would likely come up with some cash to keep him in WSB, you would think.
It's a bit late in the silly season (is this now the stupid season?) but there are still a few permutations for discussion down the pub.
    Cheers
    Barry
