I have had Dri-rider pants for four years and I Teknics jacket since the start of winter. Teamed with a one piece Dri-rider wet suit, I'm happy. Cheers.
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flash weaken the plastic?

I've got a Dririder Jacket which I've had for about a year.it's started to leak and some of the press studs are starting to rust(need towash it and waterproof it again).Got Spool pants that seem to leak through the seems in the pants crotch area(unpleasant).Use my gear everyday for commuting and even had 2 low speed bins in it.Been relatively pleased with it and its protected my skin.

have had a spidi jacket for 8 years no leaks or drafts, and clover pants that has just started to leak last year i decided to get a new set of gear. went for teknics jacket and pants, both leaked a lot the pants have been replaced but new pair still leaks. i took the jacket back but was told they could not find any leaks at all, but i still get wet if i ride in a light shower for any more than 10 min. My reccommendation Spidi all the way!!! More expensive but well worth it in the long run. personally i would stay away from teknics

Thanks for the comments and advice all. I'd already heard Motomail was a good place to shop - if they were a little closer to where I live I'd be paying them a visit!!

Got a PM from Quasi to mull over... but I've heard good things about him and his gear, as well as keeping my business with a fellow KBer...

I like my Quasi Moto jacket - still keeps me dry in AUckland winters every day. I have some Fieldsheer pants which aren't as waterproof, despite coating them with the Cordura stuff. Might get some Quasi pants next winter.
