    I hope that you folks are leaving early, as at "legal speeds" it will take you around 4 hours 30 to get to Taupo that way.

    You can do it comfortably in 3 hour via SH2 and SH27 through Matamata and back onto SH1 at Tirau.

    Have a good ride.

    Most triumphant and salubrious exhultations! Have just got back in from Taupo ride and about to head off to school and pick up some reports to mark now!

    Any excuse to ride some more...

    Will post up piccies and a bit more reporting when I get back and use it as an excuse to procastinate and not do the school work!
