And the difference with you is....? I thought your idea of a "nice cruise" usually involved "ripping the streets up"...

and if it doesn't handle the bends that well, you can always go to the drag strip and have fun on the straight

I did read how you had changed the angle of the forks. You did not mention anything re trail considerations. I am sure I am telling grandma how to suck eggs here, but just in case, have a look at this as there might be something useful.

Looking forward to following the progress.
The ZX12R forks I have used have zero offset yokes (trees) and the front wheel spindle is also in line with the fork legs.

According to the spec sheets the ZX12R runs 25 degrees steering head angle and 93mm trail, I have set the angle to 26 therefore increasing the trail slightly.

I figured I would try it as it is because the trail is not adjustable as such, if its not right I will have to have special offset yokes made

A fraction more sluggish at slow speed and a fraction more stable at high speed. But you will probably hardly notice it. And by adjusting spring tension, the position of forks in trees and even changing tyre there will be a slight change. Add to this the rear hight.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Yeah I know some guys that have reg'd scratch built cars and it's not impossible if you follow the rules. Is for sure if you roll up to the testing station with the vehicle and have no reports on it etc by the right people. Looks nice and tidy Zed, good to "know people" too eh!

    "Zed" stands for "Zeus", right?

    Surely you are a God?

Actually "God" is a phrase thats often used by the wife.

Usually said as "Oh God, what did you do this time?" or "Oh God, how much did that cost?" :slap:
