Does Jason know you're robbing parts off his bike while he "can't" ride it...?

    Looks horn!

I havent has much time to work on this but I have started bashing the tank out. I cut the top of a Z1300 tank, used the side of a Honda VFR 1000 tank (reshaped) and a piece of steel so far, Im waiting for a special radiator to be made before I start on the rad cowl and belly plate.

The exhaust has to go higher, I have to use Renthal taper bars and maybe a different top tree.

I also need to buy a Pneumatic planishing hammer to help shape everything smoothly, I hope the wife lets me

Oh yeah I have to buy a Tig welder too cos Mig welding is porous

LOL, awesome job on the exhaust!

What sort of power are you expecting to get out out of it? Just that the swingarm looks like it'll want to be braced if you're going for 150hp+

It's good to see some proper modification threads on here rather than all the tail tidy posts

    "Proper modification"?

Tim's approach is, "Mmmm, that doesn't look right, where's my hacksaw and mig?" Rear subframe, headstock, ('wrong' rake), gas tank, exhaust, shaft-drive, swingarm, rear wheel, (to adapt Z1300 diff to ZX12 wheel!).

"Now carbs aren't as good as FI, I think I'll ditch them and use Nissan Skyline FI..., and since the rolling diameter of the ZX12 wheel lowers the gearing, I'll have to make a new crown-wheel/pinion combo for the Z1300 diff..."

It's quite amazing what Mr. Tim can do with a hacksaw, laser-sight and mig....

I have been talking to Franklin Cams they reckon they have the perfect cam profilt to up the HP, Iv also ground all of the crap out of the exhaust ports and opened them up by about 2-3mm. Not much point in stuffing lots of gas into it if it cant get out just as fast.
Im going to brace the swing arm underneath where the shock mounts, Iv also done the swing arm mods in 2.5mm steel plate, should be good and strong

It should sound really good 6 into 1 through the turbo and then a straight through muffler

The tank is not as big as it looks, I have to stuff all the engine electronics, 6 coils and 2 HID units under it, its just designed to look big and butch
