Hi Josh. Welcome to the site. Safety first my man. Read up about motorcycling safety and when you buy a bike, budget to get all the safety gear at the same time. "All the Gear. All the Time"
There are no strangers in Kiwi Biker, only friends I haven't yet met.

Bro, tell ya what, get pro-active and start putting yourself into situations where you'll learn stuff constantly.

Go to the library and get books out of the motorcycle section, get yourself a job - ideas like - kitchen hand, paper boy, assistant (any job is better than no job and don't frikkin take rejection too deep, it's all apart of learning), don't hang around with too many people that drain/sap your soul (you probably know what I mean, the firkkin 'cool' kids that are mostly dickheads), DO hang around motorcycle shops (but just watch out for some of the bigot salesclerk who think they run the world) and if you're lucky enough some awesome motrobike mechanic will take you up for work experience/assistant.

Just remember, as long as you're putting yourself out there constantly and having a clear set of goals, you'll be sweet.
Just be pro-active like I said and the girls will come running to you!

And plus you've got all of us here to support you.
