It had been a while since I have been up over there, and really enjoyed the ride. The road and traffic was in great order which made for little hold ups.

I am sure that after 20 thousand k's the bike is still feeling better every time I ride it. Unless I am just getting numb from the twin vibrations?? who would know.

I post a few pics in my webshots thing.

Na they were not with us... thats the snobby Speedie Gonzarlies Club, we passed them between the hilltop and Akaroa.

Awesome ride (as expected when in my presence) shit loads a bikes the Classic club was there as was a HOG group.
The ride was about showing our visitor 'Chancy' the Akers GP, what a mint effort riding a 24yr old stroker all this way.

Hi I did not know you lot where going for this ride until late last night.

We were at the Hill Top when you snobs rode passed with out even a wave.

We stop there for lunch before heading back so the Southern crew could head home before it was to late.
They wanted to have a lookcee around the Bays before they headed home.

I hope you had a great ride we did and next time they want to do some more.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

You were heading home and we had stopped for lunch.
We meet LoC (and partner) there, when we stopped and seen Shorty (MKII) there as well.

We saw some SGC members out at Akaroa, we ran into a couple of them there earlier this morning... but the "600 kawa?" (ZX-6R, phoenixgtr) and the "nz250?" (NZ250, yours truly) riders weren't part of SGC, nor are we snobby, thanks anyway Dangerous! We just went out there as a pair, but had a great ride anyway. Beaut day for it, I'll add photos...

We headed over early(ish) - left phoenixgtr's place about 9.30ish, but decided we wanted to go over the hill and Dyers Pass Road (and on to Gebbies Pass) rather than go out through Halswell and Tai Tapu. Wasn't the smartest idea - little did we know there was some cycle race going on over Dyers Pass. Well fook me, there were cyclists bloody everywhere, and they caused a few leary moments too, bloody lycra clad buggers!

Wondered who that was following phoenixgtr on the way back... kept expecting him to overtake us (yeah Dangerous, we were doing 100km/h... what were you doing? ), but nah, he followed us most of the way back from Akaroa, including back over Gebbies Pass and the hill again.

Spotted Rashika on Akaroa Hill as we were heading back again, gave her a wave... didn't spot Dangerous though. Then again I mighta come across you when I was honking around a corner and not paying too much attention to the opposite side of the road. Hope you guys had a good ride though!

I went to Halswell and was there at 10:53... couldn't find any of you guys since I didn't know the exact spot. Where is that pub anyway? I saw shitloads of bikers but none that I could identify.
Got bored by 11:10 and went off on my own - over Gebbies to meet up with lemans, SDU, Helen and the guys from Dunners.

Lovely day for it - although I was in a bit of a reckless yet disconnected mindset and almost got myself into trouble... Hell bent for leather(s) - and still waiting!
