    Well I have a vision

Find a paddock somewhere pref close to a beach, turn up with tents caravans or whatever, bring family kids, have a few people bring BBQ's guitars, light a big Fire sit around and have a laugh a few drinks and its all family freindly, shit with good planning it could be a few day event or one night. A good location and it could be a summer holiday event.
Organise a few portable toilets rigg up somewhere to shower
    bloody simple.
Do you want me to organise it ?

not much planning just facilities and everyone cateres for their own tents food booze etc

good on ya Quasi. You must doing this organising kinda stuff that most of us hate.

If you can find a park/camp ground/paddock in or near Auckers that dont have a major liqour ban (esp at Xmas) count me in. You lot would proly scare my neighbors off the coast anyways

well now we're cookin with gas.The best place i can think of right away is the
hot pools at Parakai. there are two -both have camp grounds.
now it seems to me I think the pacific place has a big bar too. --hmm Ok well i'll work on that one.
Another idea um -maybee my place up at Mangawhai - I figgered its a bit too far away for a christmas bash

Hell yes, this sounds awesome, I know of a freedom camping beach which would have no restrictions other than needing ya own portaloo, it's anaura bay up the east coast from Gisborne, we go up there most years, for a couple of days, but whereever, we would definately be keen as, love camping, take the dinghy, craypots too, sweet...
