i say we should go to a westie beach! then i can make it as i can afford to run there instead of burn gas and money!

Also i could push my XR500 to murawai and we could have fun in the sand!

better yet what about going to a location like Whatapu (sp?) cave? Or Mr Bethels private part of bethels beach!!! yea yeah, i say we do something like that! anybody know of any other kool locations?

give them a bit more time Mr Hitcher and just when it seems like it will never happen, Enter Quazzie, to sort it all, complete with maps , hand outs etc....

    Go Quazzie

    Heres my Idea -

Party at the hot pools . Specificly palm Springs in Parakai.
It is a quieter place than orewa or the parakai pools propper
Date--December 4th --thats a saturday. Time--from 4pm for family types with kids till 10pm ish
Of course the ride there could be Via old north road so itll be a great way to wind down after the ride.
They are licenced so booze is available.
They have barbbque facilities if we wanna fire up a few sauzzies
They also do bloody nice takeaways for the people who don't wanna cook.
Heaps of parking in the carpark.
I just think it'll be good for everyone--=family types with kids as well as the serious boozers. --Ohh and if ya wanna pitch a tent theres camping facilities .

what do yah mean? i dunno! just bowl on up and light a camp fire! s'all good it never disturbed anyone before?

plus this time we will have a firefighter anyway, he can put out the fire i make aswell as scare off the locals. then he can put on the nights entertainment... using only himself, and a banana as a prop.

    hahahaha

are you thinking of a one night bash, or a family friendly 2+ days?, we are somewhat disadvantaged being so far from anywhere that one night is sort of beyond us really, especially with the kids, maybe it would be a good idea for the unencumbered to get together for their bash in a seperate event to the family groups that fancy a few days with sun, sand, surf and so on. I'm not so keen on a might piss up as a few days r&r, ya know

I dunno either I reckon a two nighter will be good, but I hope no ones waiting for me to organise it, happy to help though, Im off to the states on Sunday so a bit busy at the moment. What we need is a location though, thats # 1 numero uno so someone has to get a spot, from that the rest should be a peice of piss

I'm really enjoying this thread, by the way...

It would make a good episode for "Survivor".

yeh a ride then piss up. Then spend the next day sleeping in the sun/beer/sporting activities/swimming/whatever. Another party that night. Sleep a little bit more and then go home
