Or a quick regroup on the lake front road... That avoids the spreading out caused by any of the intersections.

Not yet .... hadn't really done too much until today's event was done and dusted. We needed everyone, including media to focus on today and the parliamentary process.

Marion Hobbs spoke really well about our ability to be heard via the petition process. The petition gets you a seat at the select committee table.

I'm driving up to Auckland that day to fly out to Aus.

So, bugger, otherwise I would definitely be a starter.

I've been to Suncourt Hotel to try get a program of the workshop, but they said they don't have a booking for it Which is funny as I did a search on the net and found this:

    http://www.transit.govt.nz/content_f...-Flyer2007.pdf

It clearly states "Workshop Venue / Date
    Taupo 4-5 December 2007
    Suncourt Motor Hotel and Conference
    Centre, Northcroft Street, Taupo."

Good work MM. Does anyone know someone 'on the inside' ? It would be an utter tragedy if we all turned up, only to find the date or town/venue has been changed without notice.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I've rung the person in Transit who is doing the registration for the workshop, she has told me the schedule for the day and that it is at the Suncourt Hotel in Taupo on the 4th and 5th of Dec.

I have applied for a day's leave without pay, if I get it I will be there!
After my effort on Sunday in Welly, I want to see this through.

I agree with that and am happy to put our money where my mouth is ... do we have someone who is both able to attend and will glean information and bring it back to the table to ensure when we lodge the petition we have covered off the arguements that they are going to raise.
