The only issue i can see is that if we have a decent turn out then there could be a few problems with holding up more intersections ?

Yeah that's it Paddy. I don't think that those extra intersections will be a problem. Won't be much traffic coming down Broadlands Rd and Miro St there is a give way. Miro/Crown - possibly. Crown/Tauharepa - also possibly. Through traffic at those intersections would be mostly residential and not exactly heavy.

The ride Route is actually slightly smaller on the one i posted up/MSTRS suggested, which of course doesn't really matter, its our presence not how long we are riding for that counts

Will there be any address/es?
Have national media been 'invited'?
Is there any indication of numbers going?
Have any Taupo pollies (Burton? Who else?) been told about this?

Good offer, but I'm sure it's not necessary for you to come all this way. If you'd like a 'job' to help out, perhaps you could assist with intersection blocking during the ride?? We can tell you how on the day.

Taupo council will sweep the corner that Steve and I talked about so it will be free from gravel by today or tomorrow. I'll check it when I can, maybe tomorrow on my way back from work.

Taupo times will do a brief thing in the paper this week, will have a reporter there on the day to do a group photo and a write up

The lady from the Weekender is going to call me back about it... So yet to get in contact with them but I have talked with the lady before and I'm sure she will be keen on it.

Does any one know if TV 3 has been contacted and if not, how do we contact them?

Detailed ride plan has been developed and will be posted in the next few days. Just need to talk to some key people then Wasp27 will post the info. The ride plan is finished so all we need are bikes on the road.........
